WinGD is looking for a

Test Engineer / Expert 

 

Position description & Main responsibilities

  • Preparation and execution of engine tests.
  • Perform test programs for engine verification on the 2-stroke engines at Licensees, yards and on engines in service
  • Support testing activities carried out in production & in field test
  • Support head office with engine measurement activity and the development of testing methods
  • Maintain and up-to-date of measurement equipment
  • Report test results
  • Ensure safe working

 

Requirements;

Education: BSc or MSc in Electrical & Automation, Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years’ experience for engine orientated work with engine commissioning, operation, automation and software
  • Engine testing & development experience of 2-stroke engines
  • Measuring techniques of temperature, dynamic, stress and etc.

Desired Skills

  • Preferably knowledge and experience of analogue and digital measurement techniques, sensors, signal conditioning and data acquisition
  • Technical product knowledge of 2-stroke engines
  • Knowledge of engine operation, automation and software
  • Environmental legislation & regulations for marine engines
  • Willing to travel and to work worldwide in a multicultural environment
  • OA skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Reporting and analysis skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellence English language, written and spoken
  • Teamwork skills
  • Customer oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Pro-active and self-driven way of working
