Customer Support Manager in Greece (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide assigned key customers the needed support on daily inquiries, technical assistance and troubleshooting. Customers are ship operators/owners and engine builders
  • Warranty support as per guidance / project scope informed from WinGD warranty department.
  • Strengthen the local WinGD warranty team and support the 2nd Warranty manager GR on technical issues, also act as backup / deputy during his absence.
  • Connect with associated people in the HQ and local organization (customer operation support group) for customer support / warranty activities / troubleshooting
  • Keep close communication with WinGD Service Hub colleagues, identify business opportunities and share feedback accordingly.
  • Connect with global network in China, Korea, Japan and Singapore as seen needed for customer support
  • Ensure timely, unified and efficient communication with the customers
  • Forward service/customer inputs to local Service team / Head office Winterthur

Requirements

 

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine engine or similar businesses
  • MSc or BSc in Engineering or equivalent working experience
  • Knowledge in 2 stroke crosshead diesel engine technology, maintenance and / or operation of advantage
  • Pro-active and self-driven personality
  • Fluent in Greek and English (written / verbal)
