Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support installation and integration of shaft generators, battery-hybrid systems and new technologies.
  • Perform commissioning to ensure systems meet technical specifications.
  • Lead sea trials, analyze performance data, and optimize system operation.
  • Execute customer service orders in close cooperation with stakeholders.
  • Support maintenancetroubleshooting, and commissioning tasks.
  • Work with internal and external engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare service reportssea trial documentation, and technical memos.
  • Provide on-site technical guidance and training to clients.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships while upholding WinGD standards.
  • Ensure timely project completion with high quality and safety standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through field feedback.
  • Align with shipowners and shipyards on technical requirements.

 

Requirements

Professional Skills

  • Solid foundation in electrical engineering, including power electronics and electrical machines, is essential and the core of the role.
  • Familiar in marine systems engineering, including hands-on experience with variable frequency drives and power management systems is beneficial.
  • Experience in electrical commissioning is an advantage.

Languages

  • Fluent in Mandarin.
  • Good in English (written and spoken).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, or similar.
  • Apprenticeship in electrical or electronic field is a plus.
