WinGD is looking for a

(Location: China) Technical Expert, Integrated Systems 

 

As a Technical Expert in our Sustainability Solutions department, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration, commissioning, and sea trials of our advanced shaft generator and battery-hybrid systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our systems are implemented efficiently and meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and integration of shaft generators and battery-hybrid systems on marine vessels.
  • Conduct and manage commissioning processes to ensure systems meet technical specifications.
  • Lead sea trials, analyzing performance data and making adjustments for optimal system functioning.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members and clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine systems engineering, including hands-on experience with shaft generators, variable frequency drives, power management systems, and battery-hybrid systems.
  • Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
