Control Engineer - Test engines Software (m/f/d)  

 

Location: Winterthur
Workload: 100%
Startdate: By agreement  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirement analysis and develop technical specifications
  • Define and design control strategies as well as diagnostic and monitoring algorithms
  • Implement, verify, troubleshoot, and maintain control software
  • Develop, execute, and document test methods and validation procedures for control software
  • Regular onsite support at test engines, in Winterthur
  • Available to support onsite testing campagn in Asia, twice a year 
  • Ensure compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across the full V-model
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
  • Communicate effectively at both detailed technical levels and when presenting results to senior management

 

Requirements: 

  • MSc in Control Engineering (or equivalent), preferably with a focus on internal combustion engines or mechanical engineering
  • Proven expertise in advanced control techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in model-based design of MIMO systems; experience gained in internal combustion engine applications is particularly advantageous
  • Experience in developing embedded real-time applications within distributed system architectures
  • Strong background in software design and implementation using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
  • Very fluent in English
  • German language skills are considered an advantage
