Design Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain article numbers, material master data, and product classifications in accordance with company standards
  • Develop, update, and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) for products, assemblies, spare parts, and kits
  • Ensure BOM accuracy, consistency, and compliance with engineering specifications and design changes
  • Support the creation, maintenance, and documentation of technical drawings for spare parts, tools, and equipment
  • Act as the key interface between Engineering Data Management, R&D, and other cross-functional teams
  • Perform engineering data analysis, including spare parts relationships, history, and documentation management
  • Provide support, training, and guidance on Teamcenter usage, data quality, and best practices
  • Investigate and resolve revision-related issues while maintaining accurate product and technical documentation

Requirements

 

  • Technical education, Design Engineer or equivalent professional experience in mechanical engineering, product data management, or a similar field
  • Experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of CAD, preferably Teamcenter
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes and technical data management
  • Detailoriented with a structured and accurate way of working
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, R&D, and support functions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Stressresistant
