WinGD is looking for a

Development Expert Performance  

 

Responsibilities:

As part of a small dynamic team of experts, you will define the operating concept and perform hands-on testing on engines in laboratories and at licensee site world-wide. Your extensive experience in the field will be critical for this role and highly valued within the global organization. Your Responsibilities:

  • Validate new thermodynamic and combustion concepts developed for WinGD 2-stroke engines.
  • Define engine control and tuning concepts to be validated on tests engines and verified on customer engines.
  • Use 1-D engine simulation tools to support technology application and engine tests.
  • Update post-processor tools when new technologies are implemented in engines.
  • Define, improve and maintain engine performance databases collecting testing results.
  • Support customers and licensees with inquiries in this field.

Requirements:

  • M.Sc. or higher education in Mechanical Engineering or similar. 
  • Main background in Combustion and Thermodynamics for (2-stroke) internal combustion engines.
  • Engine process modelling and heat release analysis.
  • Control, tuning and testing of internal combustion engines.
  • User knowledge of one-dimensional engine simulation tools.
  • Handling a wide range of tasks in parallel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal & external customers.
  • Open for traveling (mainly Asia) several weeks - months per year.
  • Good command of English language (written & oral).
  • German appreciated.
