WinGD is looking for a

Expert Engine Controls Application 

 

Responsibilities

  • Takes the responsibility to overall combine the engine with its controls, its adjustment and fine-tuning.
  • Cooperates with other experts from engine and control development areas to provide save and reliable operational solutions.
  • Active supports the creation of the engines' operational manuals and similar technical documents.
  • Captures requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Delivers training to our collaborators on engine controls, ensuring they receive accurate calibration guidelines.
  • Is the technical contact persons for subcontractors and suppliers in his area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, capable of conveying detailed technical information effectively to upper management, engineering departments, and technical staff at all levels.
  • Is an effective team player, open and cooperative, in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge on automation and controls is prerequisite.
  • Proven knowledge on reciprocating, internal combustion engines as well.
  • Experience in system identification and calibration.
  • Basic knowledge in project management.
  • Ready to travel several times per year for some weeks.
  • Open and flexible.
  • Good social skills, can work together with further experts in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Very fluent in English.
  • Good German is of advantage.
