WinGD is looking for a

Field Service Engineer 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & execution of on-board service-inquiries

  • Preparation of the related documentation (job descriptions and service reports)

  • Organisation of on-board service with sub-suppliers

  • Supervision of the works including safety-regulation
  • Root cause analysis in close cooperation with R&D and Customer Operation Support teams
  • On board and at engine builder’s workshops
  • Proactive feedback to the teams is expected to keep WinGD engine technology up to date

 

Requirements:

  • Marine engineer or other machinery mechanic
  • Willingness to travel worldwide up to 200  days.
  • Pro-active and self-driven personality
  • Ability to empathize with people of different cultural backgrounds
  • Good communications skills
  • Knowledge in engine technology
  • Knowledge of cooperation with external partners
  • Knowledge in MS office applications
  • Fluent in English, any other foreign language is an advantage
