WinGD is looking for a

Team Leader Software Testing & Virtualization 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Team line management and leadership, develop team strategy
  • Coordinate HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) activities at WinGD Winterthur and China and ensure efficient collaboration, hardware and toolchain compatibility
  • Ensure fulfillment of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) requirements on the testing side
  • Oversee HiL rigs, including: 
    • Speedgoat and NI hardware management
    • Development and standardization of HiL infrastructure, toolchains and methods (CH and CN)
    • Ensure HiL operation reliability and efficiency
  • Lead testing and automation efforts: 
    • Develop automation frameworks
    • Enable requirements-based testing
    • Support unit-level, integration-level and system-level testing
  • Lead virtualization activities:
    • Manage & expand plant model library, organize parametrization
    • Manage HiL/model configurations
    • Enable closed-loop testing and virtual pre-calibration tasks 

Requirements:

  • MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in team leadership 
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) systems, ideally including Speedgoat and NI hardware
  • Experience in developing and managing HiL infrastructure and reliability
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks and toolchains
  • Experience in software development, integration testing and system-level testing
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and requirements-based testing
  • Skills in virtualization, including real-time plant models for closed-loop testing
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in testing and automation contexts
  • Proven expertise in internal combustion engines
  • Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, Jira, Git, Confluence
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of German is an advantage.
